So there are some men you never imagine will ever think gay thoughts. Talk more of locking lips with another man. Sean Penn is such a man. His flawless rendition of Harvey Milk, a historical gay activist, in the movie titled Milk is jawdropping. Perhaps it’s my tendency to stereotype people. However, his portrayal made the movie most appealing.
Harvey’s story is a sad, poignant yet inspiring one. A useful reminder from the good that can come from self knowledge and determined pursuit of a worthy ideal. Romantic love lingers in the story. Though Harvey’s political inclination lead them to sour endings. But his passion for truth leads the to highlight of his life that makes it worthy of mention.
This story is worth your time.
