It’s funny how wanting to write the perfect story makes you write nothing.
You get to the table prepared; pen in hand, paper laid. Your back is rigid with a stiffness you can’t explain. You want to please. You want to impress. You want to write the perfect story.
Why not relax and be yourself?
Let go of your fear.
It’s ok to be afraid. It’s ok to run away from being rejected. It’s ok to be human. Just express.
Can you point out anything perfect? Should you?
Everything is flawed and so are you. It’s how you notice this flaw that matters. Others may see it as perfection. You may see it as an abberration. But, who is to judge? Just express.
Leave the judging to whoever has been appointed judge. Perhaps your story will end up perfect. Who knows?
