Last month, I took to the streets of Lagos to ask random men if they would accept a blowjob from a man. I was careful to ask men that seemed learned.

I was shocked by what I found out.

Even though I had the suspicion -boys just wanna have fun as much as girls do- I was still surprised by what I found out.

A good portion of Nigerian men wouldn’t mind. A summary of their response is:

What is there? Its just a bj.

Others were deeply torn, it seemed like a great idea. But, they would prefer it from a girl -they wouldn’t mind a boy, perhaps after a few drinks.

The rest (a small number) had a response equivilent to:

That’s so gay! I would never!

Yeah! Until the lights are out, or you’ve been stuck in prison for ten years.
